Unlike the KILLER IV, which focuses on quick handling and penetrates the shelf, aiming straight for the bottom, the WIDE type excels at maintaining a consistent shelf to lure fish. The WIDE model excels in situations where maintaining a shelf is crucial, such as for floating mackerel in spring and schooling yellowtail and tuna in winter. These targets rarely pursue if they stray from the shelf, so careful luring along the width of the shelf is essential. The IV WIDE, a legendary jig developed by Mr. Kira several years ago and sold in small quantities by hand, is a silhouette that is more effective in such situations. Unlike shelf-keeping types, it does not have a particularly slow sinking speed, making it easy to handle with 3-4 line and a thick leader, and it is very easy to position the jig whether fishing vertically or on a dotera fishing line. We recommend trying it not only for fast spinning lures, but also for short-pitch lures with bait. The KILLER JIGIV is mass-produced faithfully based on Mr. Kira's masterpiece.
