This ultra-thin hook is ideal for targeting grunt, rockfish, small bluefish, sea bream, and other fish in super light jigging. Its long tapered point design allows for quick hooking, even with the faintest bite on the fall of a lightweight jig. Its pocket-shaped design provides a firm hold after hooking, and its strength disguises its thinness. It also features an eye that allows for easy creation of an assist hook with an external hook knot at the fishing spot (on a boat). When fishing in areas with rough rocks using light tackle with thin line, a thick hook with excessive strength can lead to the loss of the jig or line if it gets snagged. With this in mind, the hook has been heat-treated and its hardness adjusted to minimize line breakage and allows for easy retrieval.
