Fully supervised by the legendary jigger Tsunehiro Sato, a leading figure in modern jigging and the creator of the slow pitch jerk. "I wanted a flat, long jig that would fall quickly and move with a small jerk." This Sato Jig is the ultimate pursuit of Sato's desire.
It is designed with overwhelming operability, allowing you to quickly reach the bottom even in bad tides such as when the tide is splitting, and to create the desired movement to lure fish. It has a nose and tail shape that allows water to flow easily in both directions, "upward (jerk)" and "downward (fall)", and a flat, long silhouette that attracts fish from a wide area with its visual effect, even when there are few fish. In other words, the concept of the Sato Jig is to be a trump card that can squeeze out catches even in difficult conditions such as "bad tides" and "few fish".
The fine details of the shape were worked out on board the boat, and Sato himself hand-carved the prototype to perfect its performance until it was ready for production. "I think this is the best I've ever made," said Sato.
